The tree

The tree shook itself
To let all those fruits  fall
That were hanging loosely on it
With only the firm ones remaining
The tree felt in peace
And less burdened
To focus steadily
On the purpose of existence!

Toiling tirelessly,

Working all the wakeful moments,

Unmindful to the luxuries of life, 

Your unrested feet

My dear ones,

Have taken you close to God

Without even your own knowing!

Waking up

Waking up from the long, deep slumber,

Closing her heart's Chambers

She gazed steadily at the light

Shining between her eyes

Walking firmly, without faltering

She stepped into eternity.

Wanderer

Without an address

A name, or any fame

Without any desires

And no possessions, 

She walks

Along the lanes of the world

Pausing, falling, laughing

Feeling the pain and joy of life

Alone

The vast open space beckons him
High up in the mountains
Where all you have to smile to
Are the stars, the rocks, the wind
And amidst them the silent souls
Who though unknown to you, knows you
Loves you, guides you
And makes you shine like a star
You leave behind everything
Even the precious ties
Not knowing what lays ahead
With empty hands and a barren heart
Walking ahead holding the string of life!

Safe from all the harm

Don’t lose that smile, don’t lose that hope

When weighed down with troubles

Try not to drown with it

But let the troubles sink down

Without you inside

Emerge from each darkness

With a greater radiance 

Keep that smile

Keep you safe from all the harm!

The shining Truth

The heavily laden body

Weighed down

By the adornments

That covered  

The beauty within

She struggled

To bare all

And reveal

The shining truth

Healing the world

Sitting by her desk with a pen

She stared at the blank paper 

Many words came to her mind

Different images criss crossing

Perplexed, powerless, clueless

She looked around and saw

A statue that stood tall

In the silence it uttered

Many stories of the world

The hatred, the confusion

The disharmony, disillusion

The wounds and the cries

She listened carefully

Feeling the pulse of being

Her heart bled and love poured out

Spreading through the web of life

Healing the wounds of the world

Only a typhoon

Only a typhoon can replace another
To uproot everything completely
Without leaving a trace of the past
And live freely, joyously
Unaware of any pain!

Watering the garden

She tending many gardens
The plants flourished, bloomed
It made her happy,
The gardens were well kept
She wasn't  the lone one to tend these gardens
But  there was no one to water the plants
In her garden, to take care of it
She needed to water her own garden
Make it beautiful
To be happy and to spread the joy.

Eyes

The eyes that are merged with the cosmos
Heart beating in harmony with the pulse of life
The smile melted with universal love
Arms that embrace and body that warms you
The soul that connects and binds you forever!

Frozen memories

I look down at the world

Where I once lived

Engaging in lively chats

Laughing and playing

At times eager and shocked

Keen to hear about stories

Waiting for someone

The disappointments and pain

I look down at the world

Where once I got caught

Under the veil of life

Like a mother who lost her children

In the bloodiest battle

The world full of corpses

The mind still and frozen

With memories that you cant feel

Reacts

The fear, the threat, the danger
Surfacing around you
Each tiny point of your body
Reacts to the world
Even without your knowing
Making you live
The way you never wanted to!
