Cradle

As I lay down
With my bleeding heart
And pain gushing out
Emptying me
Letting go of
Every feeling
Every thought
I feel the Mother Earth
Swinging me
In her cradle
Making me sleep
Like a child
Unaware of
The world around!

blanket

Wrapped in the blanket of love
She slept peacefully
In the moonlit night
Suddenly she was thrown
Into the wild
Among the thorny bushes
Without the blanket
The world pierced through her!!!

She

There is blood, there is pain
She goes weak,
On her knees, she cries
Her loud shrieks
Echoing in the world
Can life only hurt? 

Failure

When you failed in everything
When you have nothing to show to the world
When you accept defeat
When you don’t see any hope
When even god abandons you
You succesfully live a failed life !!

Is there love?

They take everything
That grows on her
They dig deep
To take all that’s inside her
They ruthlessly step on her
Ignoring her pain
They throw on her
All that’s of no use to them
She loves, she nurtures,
she is tortured, she bleeds
Is there love ?

Can you

Oh mind, can you please  be calm
Not trying to be agitated by the world
Can you stay still
Not trying to escape out of the body
Can you be happy
Within the inner realms of me
Allowing me to listen
To the hidden tunes of the world!

Accepting

You go with a bagful of hope
To the altar of god
God doesn’t look at you
You fall at his feet
You plead, you weep
Still he doesn’t look at you
You return, empty handed
Looks at yourself and smile
Accepting defeat
Thankful
For what you already have
And receiving what he gives! 

Align

My dear one, close your eyes
And look into you
Align your body
Within a pyramid
Your spine, the central axis
Find the Apexes
Align into the
Cosmic sphere !

Move on

The path will be difficult
People will hurt you
They will hurl
Stones of words at you
Accusing you
Making your steps
Heavy with guilt
But you must move on
With all your strength
With your faith strong
Nothing else matters
But only your destination!

silence

The words from the voice
Pierced through her heart
Wounding it!
Blood poured out
In silence
Turning into words
That spoke volumes
Of the voiceless heart!

Ada!

As she passed through the streets of the land
Gentle beeeze brought
Sweet aroma of the
Local delicacy called Ada
A popular sweet dish
Of the land of coconuts
Or rather the land of jackfruits
Though may not be a favourite but always popular
Just as the wine tastes better as it ages
One starts to relish the delicacy as you age
But the sweet scent of Ada, the sweetness added
By the cinnamon leaves
By which it is covered
Stirs the corners of your heart
If Kerala ought to be known by a flavour
It could be that of the Ada
With a sweet romantic aroma!

the pain

Each time she stares innocently
At the cupboard of life
The pain pours itself
Into her cup
She pushes it away from her
Reaching out to the joy
To the purpose of life
 But the pain seeps in
Not to make her overjoyed
And break away from life!

Walked on

They hurled stones of words at her
But she remained unhurt
As her body was numb
To the outer world
She had travelled deep into her self
Shedding all her wants and belongings
They accused her of ignoring them
Being rude and selfish
But she moved on
Carrying all the guilt and sin
With her
Into the lap of eternity !
